FACC is one of the leading companies in the development and production of advanced fiber reinforced components and systems for the aeronautic industry. They have 3400 employees and a total yearly revenue of €750,7 Mio (2017/18). Their main area of expertise is the fabrication of fiber reinforced polymers. Their products range from fuselages, airfoils and engine parts up to complete passenger cabins for civil aircrafts, business jets and helicopters. They are built for all the well-known aircraft manufacturers (Boeing, Airbus, Empraer, Bombardier, etc.), engine manufacturers (Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney, etc.) and subsuppliers from aircraft manufacturers.
FACC has a long experience in the development and manufacturing of aircraft components made of fiber reinforced materials. Their division of non-destructive testing is continously growing as is the whole company.
FACC provides the necessary equipment and technology like squeezing machines, autoclaves, injection facilities and techniques for aeronautic manufacturing processes. One foundation of this project is the already available robot-based multifunctional system at FACC.
